The Formula Bharat: MathWorks® Autocross Challenge 2027 invites registered Formula Bharat teams to develop a torque vectoring controller in MATLAB® and Simulink®. Teams will use a common electric Formula Student vehicle Simulink model.

The controller shall distribute propulsion torque among the four wheels to improve cornering, path following, and yaw response while maintaining stability and respecting the supplied actuator limits.

The award has two stages: simulation-based model evaluation and a 30-minute technical presentation by shortlisted teams.

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams will each receive Cash Prizes of 40,000 INR, 20,000 INR, and 15,000 INR, respectively.

These awards will be presented at the Formula Bharat 2027 award ceremony.
