About the Speaker:
Rajat graduated from VIT Chennai with Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. His core emphasis was on CFD, Thermal & Fluid Science. He has built a proficiency in Multi-physics Computational Simulation backed with a strong theoretical foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics & heat transfer. Rajat currently works as CFD – Aero Thermal Engineer in Power Train Electrification R&D at Valeo India.
Rajat is an alumnus of Shaurya Racing and served his time on the team as a CFD Simulation Engineer. At Formula Bharat, Rajat volunteers his time as a Technical Inspector and as a Document Reviewer for the Combustion category.
Through this webinar, Rajat shares his insights on when CFD should be used and why it could be beneficial for Formula Student teams. Rajat will also focus on what questions a team should ask before taking on the journey towards beginning any CFD simulation project.
