On December 21 at 7 PM IST, Decibel Lab along with their CTO, Venugopal Prathimala shall be delivering a presentation on ‘Powertrain Sizing Simulations for Student Racing Teams’. In this session, Venugopal will address the approach and detailed studies needed to finalize and optimize the component sizing for various load, driver behaviors, weight targets, pack sizing optimizations and more.

About the Speaker:

Venugopal is a team member of Electric Formula Student team at KTH, Sweden. He is engaged in Powertrain simulation studies for the development of their Electric formula student car. He is also the CTO at Decibels Lab, engaged in the development of advanced powertrain models for component sizing, optimization, auxiliary load estimations, thermal estimation for passenger and Commercial Vehicle Segment. Venu has also worked on activities such as Cell testing and characterization, Model-based design for SOC, SOH and Cell balancing.
