The use of the Internet pages of Formula Bharat is generally possible without providing any personal data. Formula Bharat values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we handle data in line with applicable data protection principles.

Any natural person whose personal data is processed by Formula Bharat, such as team members, faculty advisors, sponsors, partners, employees, vendors or website visitors. - c) Processing

A natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which processes personal data on behalf of Formula Bharat. For example, event registration platforms, payment service providers, or cloud hosting services engaged by Formula Bharat. - g) Recipient
A natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or another body, to which personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. However, authorities receiving personal data under applicable law (e.g., statutory obligations) are not considered recipients.

A natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or body other than the data subject, controller, processors, and persons authorized to process data under the controller’s or processor’s direct authority. - h) Consent

- Registration on Our Website
The data subject has the option to register on the official website of the Controller by voluntarily providing personal data. The categories of personal data collected are determined by the respective input forms used during the registration process (e.g., name, email address, institution/organization details, contact number, and password). The personal data entered by the data subject are collected, stored, and processed solely for internal purposes of the Controller, and exclusively in furtherance of the services offered by Formula Bharat.
Where necessary, and only for the purpose of fulfilling contractual or legal obligations, the Controller may transfer such personal data to one or more data processors (e.g., parcel/courier services, payment gateway providers, or IT service providers). These processors shall process the personal data exclusively on behalf of, and under instruction from, the Controller.
Upon registration, the following technical data are also recorded and stored:
- the Internet Protocol (IP) address assigned by the Internet Service Provider (ISP),
- the date and time of registration, and
- the referring source (if applicable).
The storage of such data is necessary for the security of the Controller’s systems, to prevent misuse of services, and, where required, to facilitate the investigation of unlawful activity. Data will not be disclosed to third parties unless there exists a statutory obligation to do so or if such disclosure is required for the purposes of law enforcement or criminal prosecution.

The Formula Bharat website provides options for contact with our organization, including the use of a general email address and/or contact forms.
If a data subject contacts the Controller by email or through a contact form, the personal data voluntarily submitted will be automatically stored.
This data is stored solely for the purposes of Responding to inquiries, Maintaining communication with the data subject, and Following up on requests or issues raised.
No personal data transmitted in this way will be shared with third parties, unless such disclosure is legally required or expressly permitted under applicable data protection regulations.
- Rights of the Data Subject

Data subjects may request the deletion of their personal data without undue delay, where one of the following applies:

- Consent for processing has been withdrawn, and no other lawful basis exists;
- The data subject objects to the processing and no overriding legitimate grounds exist;
- The data were unlawfully processed;
- The erasure is required by law;
- The data were collected in relation to information society services as per GDPR Article 8(1).
Where data have been made public, the Controller shall take reasonable measures to notify other Controllers processing such data of the erasure request.
