Intake Process:


  • Step 1: Fill the Application Form. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their area of knowledge, skills, experience, etc.
  • Step 2: 1-on-1 Interview [To understand the candidate's area of expertise and event & rules know-how, etc.]
  • Step 3: Course Completion and Evaluation [Based on Rules, Event & Document related content, Bias training, rubric & scoring, etc.]
  • Step 4: Final Selection based on Interview (step 2) and Course Evaluation (step 3). All of the steps outlined above are mandatory.

Responsibilities:


Inspect the mechanical rule compliance of the EV Powertrain system. This will include the following (but not limited to) –

  • Checking the rule compliance of the accumulator container, Mounting of the accumulator container, Rule compliance of the mounting brackets and gussets, Battery pack rule compliance, Mounting of EV Powertrain components.
  • Pre-Tech, Tech Inspection Bay and queuing
  • Tilt station
  • Brakes station and queuing
  • Dynamic gates
  • Parc Ferme (Post-Endurance inspection) station

** Tech Inspectors may be assigned to track and dynamic marshal roles as well.

Qualifications:


  • Take the online course (details will be provided to shortlisted candidates) and clear the virtual evaluation.
  • Attend the Virtual Training and Orientation
  • Enthusiasm and commitment towards safety is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Past safety leadership training within an automotive environment an asset.
  • Knowledge on how to use a fire-extinguisher an asset.
  • Past Formula Student experience is an asset.
