At Formula Bharat, we believe engineering goes beyond textbooks, it’s about building, testing, failing, learning, and innovating. Every student, regardless of background or resources, deserves the chance to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world, competitive environment.
That’s the vision behind the Formula Bharat Outreach Program: to bring the Formula Student platform directly to campuses across India. By doing so, we aim to empower students with the tools, guidance, and inspiration to design, build, and race Formula-style vehicles, turning ambition into hands-on experience.
Through this program, our team visits institutions to introduce the Formula Student platform and its opportunities, guide aspiring teams on how to start and sustain projects, share insights from successful teams and alumni and encourage participation from underrepresented regions and groups.
What is the Outreach Program?
The Formula Bharat Outreach Program is an initiative where our team visits educational institutions across the country to spread awareness about the Formula Student platform. Our goal is to educate students, faculty, and administration about the opportunities that Formula Bharat presents—both technically and professionally. This program is our effort to bridge that gap and ensure no talent goes untapped due to lack of exposure or access.
Through this program, we aim to:
Introduce the Formula Student platform to new institutions
Encourage participation from underrepresented regions and groups
Help aspiring teams understand how to start and sustain a Formula Student project
Share insights from successful teams and alumni
Create a more diverse, inclusive, and collaborative community
What Does a Visit Include?
During our visit, the Formula Bharat team conducts:
Introductory Seminar: Learn about Formula Student, Formula Bharat, its mission, and how it empowers engineering students.
Alumni Interaction (Optional): Hear from past participants and team alumni about their journey.
Team-Building Guidance: Understand how to form and manage a team, delegate roles, and start your first vehicle project.
Technical and Event Overview: Get insights into the design, manufacturing, and competition process.
Q&A Session: Interact directly with our team and get your doubts cleared.
