Event Details

The purpose of the 8th Annual FSEV Concept Challenge, “Pi-EV 2024″, is to provide teams with an opportunity to conceptualize and design a Formula Student Electric Vehicle Powertrain Package which meets the Formula Bharat 2025 Rules booklet technical guidelines. Judging for Pi-EV 2024 will be held online. Students will have to prepare documents / presentations for the following categories involved in the challenge:

FMEA Report
Procurement Strategy Report
Team Management Report
Design Specifications Sheet Report (DSS)
Engineering Design Presentation (EDP)
Q&A Sessions

Pi-EV 2024 shall use the following guidelines to prepare:

Formula Bharat 2025 Rules booklet, specifically the sections

Pi-EV (FSEV Concept Challenge) will be discontinued.

Pi-EV 2024 was the 8th season of Pi-EV, formerly known as the FSEV Concept Challenge. The event began in 2018 and over these 8 seasons, it has seen an overall participation of 150 teams. The event has helped and provided feedback to plan & conceptualize all these teams vehicles, preparing them for full-fledged Formula Student competitions.

However, as all good things must come to an end, so the organizing team has decided that this will be the last season for Pi-EV. The event will be discontinued due to the evolving focus in the Formula Student landscape, the need to redirect our resources towards new and practical initiatives, and our commitment to adapting to the changing educational and industry demands.

With this, we would like to thank each and every one of you for being a part of Pi-EV’s journey. Your participation, enthusiasm, and hard work have made these past eight seasons truly memorable.

 

Results

Quick Notes

Awards Ceremony

The Awards Ceremony for Pi-EV 2024 will be live-streamed on Sunday, July 21, at 5:30 PM IST on the Formula Bharat YouTube channel. The Awards Ceremony will feature the winners of awards. Kindly join the stream at 05:30 PM IST.
