About the Speaker:
Prarthana Murugavel, a dynamic and determined individual with a keen eye for creative pursuits, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from DJ Academy of Design. Her fascination with motorsports began in 2014 during a live telecast of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco, propelling her into an extraordinary journey fueled by an unrelenting passion for racing.
Her accomplishments include:
- Special award at the FMSCI annual award ceremony 2024.
- Secured Gold in the Women’s Karting Slalom at the Asia Pacific Motorsport Championship 2023, representing India.
- First Indian woman to win Gold in Karting Slalom at an international/multinational motorsports event.
- Most Promising Female Racer at the JK Tyre FMSCI National Car Racing Championship 2022.
- Fourth position in the Momentum Motorsports Driver Development Program 2022.
- Best Rookie trophy at the MRF MMSC FMSCI National Car Racing Championship (Round 2) in 2021.
- Second position in the Talent Hunt organized by Ahura Racing in 2021.
