About Formula Bharat:


Intake Process:


  • Step 1: Fill the Application Form. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their portfolio, experience, and communication skills.
  • Step 2: Attend a Virtual Orientation and Briefing Session.
  • Step 3: Final Selection and Task Allocation.

Note: All steps are mandatory. Selected volunteers are expected to be proactive and professional in their assigned roles.

About the Media Volunteer Role:

Video Editor:


  • Edit Raw Footage into High-Impact Content: Compile and edit footage captured during the event (interviews, dynamic runs, paddock activity, award ceremonies, etc.) into engaging, polished videos that align with Formula Bharat’s tone and branding
  • Create Daily Highlight Reels: Work under tight timelines to produce short daily summary videos showcasing key moments of the competition for social media and official platforms.
  • Support Social Media Content: Generate event reels, teasers, and motion graphics for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn using provided or captured material.
  • Incorporate Graphics & Branding: Add lower-thirds, captions, transitions, logos, intros/outros, and relevant music/sound design to enhance storytelling and brand consistency.
  • Media Lead to ensure timely turnaround and content cohesion.
  • Handle Multiple Formats: Export content in multiple resolutions and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) as per platform specifications.
  • Organize Media Assets: Maintain a clear file structure for edited and unedited footage, project files, and exports for easy access and archival.

Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in photography/videography, video editing, social media content creation, or on-ground reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic event environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English (Hindi/Tamil is a bonus).
  • A keen eye for detail, creative storytelling, and passion for motorsports or student innovation.
  • Access to your own equipment is preferred (camera, mic, gimbal, laptop, editing tools, etc.).
  • Requirement to maintain integrity and confidentiality of account details and internal information shared.

Photographer / Videographer:


  • Capture high-resolution photographs and videos of competition events, teams, paddock setups, workshops, and ceremonies.
  • Coordinate with the Media Lead to cover specific assignments and deliver daily outputs.
  • Follow branding and safety guidelines while operating in dynamic environments.

Content Creator / Manager:


  • Create engaging, platform-ready content (stories, posts, captions) for Formula Bharat’s social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the social media coordinator to schedule and manage daily posting.
  • Assist in generating reels, behind-the-scenes videos, and highlights.

Anchor / Host (English / Hindi):


  • Conduct on-site interviews with teams, sponsors, alumni, and organizers.
